San Antonio Senior Photographer | River City Believers Academy

Every year I have the opportunity to photograph the senior class at River City Believers Academy and I LOVE it! We spend the morning photographing their little class of seniors and then they get the day to play! I look forward to this session every year and we are always trying to do something a little different than previous years! This year we decided it would be fun to use an old vintage ladder to layer everyone on and it turned out fabulous! They chose to color coordinate and it turned out perfectly! We placed their petit one (precious Janie) on the top–which was an easy spot for her! Super cute!

After the ladder shots we moved onto to individuals of each senior. We had a lot of different backdrops to choose from in our location and I loved how they turned out. This was a really fun group! We did both casual and formal as well as a cap and gown shot as well! It was so fun!

Towards the end of the shoot, the seniors put on their 2012 senior t-shirts and got some more fun shots! I love how the one of them all leaning on the old fence turned out!

To the RCBA Class of 2012….thank you for allowing me to photograph your senior portraits. I wish you all the best of luck in your last semester and whatever future endeavors you choose! Keep in touch!

I had the opportunity to photograph these sweet cousins out in Boerne over the holidays! They are too cute together and I had such a great time out at their grandma’s house! They are expecting cousin number 5 to arrive next summer and of course grandma is hoping for a little girl but another boy would fit right in with this group! Two of the boys live in Denver, Colorado and the other two live here in San Antonio. It just so happens that one of these cousins (the really blonde one) is my 8 year olds best best bud! Those two are such good buddies and have so much fun together! Also, their sweet grandma helps watch my little SB while I am working so we really feel like this family is just an extension of our own! Thank you for having me out to capture these sweet little guys! I look forward to meeting number 5 in the future! Love you guys!

San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Meet Corbin

Wow–I love my job! This was the sweetest little family and little Corbin Hill was an angel for the session! The Hill family just grew this month as they added a sweet little addition! Emily and Andy have were so cute with little Corbin and acted like they had done this a number of times before even though Corbin is their first! In their interview they informed me that they love different textures and had a few funky hats they wanted to use during the session. They showed up with this crazy cookie monster hat that was hilarious on top of his head! It took up his entire head with hair flying everywhere! For those of you who know my style, of course we did the simple, sweet organic newborn look that I love as well. I truly believe less is more when it comes to photographing newborns! They are so tiny and only look like that once–so it is my goal to capture just them (although it is fun to throw a crazy hat on every once in a while!) We also put one of their santa hats on him since he was born so close to Christmas!

Emily and Andy–congratulations to you on your newest addition. He is a gorgeous little man–I cannot wait to watch him grow in 2012! You are such great parents already–what a lucky guy!

San Antonio Maternity Photographer {Meet Shaunay and Adam}

I love it when I receive the client interview and they say “We love to step outside the box and do something different!” This sweet couple loves to step outside the box and we tried to create a fun and unique maternity session for them to meet those needs! I loved using this pink cruiser bike since they are expecting a little girl in January! It fit them perfectly and we had so much fun with it not only in the field but also in the funky old alleys! We even shot a few with sweet Shaunay in the drivers seat and Adam up on the handle bars! I also had my new creative team design a couple of fun props! The “Rademacher Makers” was kind of an inside joke with their circle of friends as they were “MAKING” a Rademacher! Then the little Atleigh sign out of yarn–how fun is that??? I love all the names they were deciding between and Atleigh is just precious! They were so cute as they told the story of how the name came about!

Shaunay and Adam, thank you for allowing me to capture this special time your life! I cannot wait to meet little Atleigh very very soon! I know you are on the final stretch and are anxiously anticipating her arrival! I hope you cherish these fun maternity photos for many many years!

Boerne Photographer | Meet the Smith Family

What a gorgeous family with a fun session! Courtney contacted me about wanting to do a session behind her beautiful new home in Boerne and I thought the ladder would be the perfect fit! We headed out behind the house which was the perfect space with an open field and overgrown grass. Everyone in the group was super easy to photograph and I love how she coordinated all of their outfits for the session-not matching but coordinating–it was perfect! My favorites always end up being those without any props! I love the ones where they are standing out in the field and the one of Courtney and Paul is fabulous! What a cute couple with a super cute family! I am so happy for them in their new home–it is truly stunning in a great location! If we ever move out to Boerne–I told her I am headed her way!! It is a fabulous neighborhood with large lots and gorgeous homes-what more could you ask for!

I also had the opportunity to snap a shot of their sweet dog–he is too cute–a Labradoodle! He was having a grand old time chasing the deer behind the house and getting a bunch of stickers in his fur–but what a cutie!

San Antonio Childrens Photographer | She is one already…

For those of you who follow my blog you know that I have been photographing sweet little B since birth! She is so gorgeous and I have loved watching her change and grow over the past year. This is my little niece and the last session I did was her with my little one on the porch! These two are only 5 weeks apart and are destined to be buddies–especially since my little girl will NOT be having a sister We have had so much fun over the past year with these two and I can only imagine what the future holds! Now we are getting into the independence stage and comparing who is throwing the bigger tantrum! It is sooo nice to raise kids with a sibling! I highly recommend it although this was not planned in the least!

We did a combo one year session with her Christmas session this year and it was so much fun! We changed her clothes several times and she was all smiles! It is so fun to see them grow and change almost daily! She has the biggest eyes and the cutest smile on her! I love her blonde hair too! She got the straight hair and my daughter’s hair is full of curls–how ironic is that? My sister has super curly hair and mine is board straight!

What a precious family! Andrea works on the baby floor at Methodist Hospital and saw some of my work up in their hallways. I am blessed that my newborn work was chosen to adorn the halls of Methodist Hospital here in San Antonio and I often receive clients from these images! Now onto to little Bryce…

Wow–what a precious little baby boy Bryce was during his newborn session! (the second time) This was the first time in all my years of being a photographer that I had to ask mommy to bring the little guy back to me and try again another day. He was perfect with his older brother at the beginning but when it came his turn we could not get him settled so we tried again the next day and he was perfect! I have never had a little one smile as much as he did and I was so glad that we caught a couple of the really big ones. I particularly love the image on the blue with him smiling from ear to ear. He was just too cute for words and he had the biggest blue eyes you have ever seen. His older brother was just as cute as him with the same eyes! What a precious family! San Antonio Children’s Photographer | Sweet little family…

This was such a sweet little family. They had just moved here from Alabama (I had a lot of questions for her since my husband has his fellowship there starting in August!). Mom is a nurse at Methodist, daddy works in the military and their sweet little angel was about as cute as they come! She had one of those personalities that would not quit! Anything I asked her to do she did and with a smile from ear to ear. She was just fun to be around and even more fun to photograph!

As you can tell she loves her mommy and daddy! Anytime she was with one of them she was giggling and laughing! I love the ones of their faces close together! She as grabbing on to both of them and holding on tight! It was too cute!

I loved the sun in the field images…it was so pretty and their clothing was perfect too! They all coordinated but did not match which was great and the kept is all really simple so it could be about them! Thank you Donner’s for choosing Natasha Tessier Photography to capture sweet little Livi and your family at this time in your lives. I loved your session and hope you cherish these images for many many years!

San Antonio Family Photographer | Holiday Mini Sessions!

I have several families that come to me every year for an updated family photo and Christmas cards! I only do this once a year when we have super short sessions and I love to fine unique scenes and sets for these. This year I decided to do a little something different and take the photos with a vintage old red truck! As you can see from the images…the red truck was fabulous! We had a few holiday decorations like the Merry Christmas sign, vintage banners and a bucket of green and yellow balls! Honestly, we did not need much because the truck itself was neat! That afternoon we did a second location and it was fabulous too with the stone fireplace beautifully decorated as well!

They all had such great outfits picked out–my clients are getting really good at coordinating and not matching! I no longer have to say no white shirts and jeans! In this group of mini sessions, I have the Pharris Crew, The Thompsons, The Adams, The Phillips and sweet little Charlotte! What a fun time this was at NTP!

I loved how these turned out with the red truck as the backdrop–super cute and the families were all pleased as well! Below are a few images from the sessions!

San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Meet Cale

This fall has been full of sweet little newborns. I have so many different props, buckets, blankets etc. that I try my best to make each session a little unique for my clients. Little Cale’s parents had some really uniques hats and blankets for us to use during the session! Mommy is an art teacher at Churchill and definitely has that creative eye. They also LOVE moose like me..for those of you who know me you know that I love moose! I think they are the coolest animals so when they showed up with this knit moose hat I was thrilled! Yes–it is silly but super fun! They also brought the colorful blanket that we got baby Cale curled up on. Then of course we had to get the traditional shots of him without any hats and the sweet little knit newsboy hat! He was a perfect little subject and I loved meeting mom, dad and Cale’s new aunt who is in love with him too! How could you not be?!?

Thank you Hoffman’s for hiring me to capture sweet Cale at such special time in his life. I love photograph newborns within their first few days because they never look like that again and they are so so precious. Cale was no exception. I hope you enjoy the holidays with your new little man–he is a gem!

San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Meet Abigail

As you can see from reading the blog, I have photographed A LOT of newborns over the past few months! Meet sweet Abigail…she may have been the easiest newborn I have ever photographed. She came in and went straight to sleep! It was fantastic! She let me move her into just about any position, put anything on her head and she never made a peep! When she finally did wake up, mom just fed her and she was right back down! I have never had a newborn go to sleep that easily and stay asleep that long! It could be due to the fact that mom and dad were so chill! They just said let me know if you need us and let me do my thing! The calmer the parents often times the calmer the baby as was the case here!

This was the Countryman’s first little nugget and what a cutie! Her face was perfectly round and she had just the right amount of pudginess (not sure that is a word!). Mom and dad love cooking, church, the outdoors and the quiet moments–I am sure they are getting a lot of these with sweet Abigail. In addition, they have a little dog named Missy who I can tell has become fast friends with this new little addition. I have seen pictures of the two of them curled up together–how sweet is that!

Abigail’s nursery is vintage inspired with a lot of old meets new so we decided that these two headbands would be best on her! They both have a vintage vibe to them and look stunning on her sweet little head. We kept with a simple backdrop to show off sweet Abigail!

I loved photographing sweet Abigail and her birth announcement you choose is just precious! I look forward to seeing this little one grow!

San Antonio Newborn Photographer {Meet Brynlee}

As many of you know this has been a crazy fall with a lot of sweet newborns here at Natasha Tessier Photography. For awhile there I was photographing several a week and they are still booking up sessions! I absolutely adore newborns! Their sweet smell, little wrinkles, occasional smiles, tiny hands and feet etc! Although they are the most difficult subject to photograph in my opinion, when done just right they are really fabulous! I have always said you only look like this once in your lifetime and it is best to capture it early! For those of you with kids, you know how fast they grow and change, especially at such a young age! It seems like almost daily they are changing!

Let’s meet little Brynlee. She was a tiny little peanut but oh so precious! Her mom was my son’s first grade teacher and I was thrilled to be able to capture her sweet little newborn portraits for them! Mom and dad are precious and all three together is just picture perfect! We photographed sweet Brynlee when she was just 6 days old and she was the perfect little subject! You can tell that mom and dad are both just smitten over their new arrival {even with the sleepless nights}! Thank you Bizon family for allowing me to capture little Brynlee at such a young age. I look forward to watching this little one grow up!

San Antonio Family Photographer | Meet the Laurence Family

We have known this sweet family for a few years and I was so excited to photograph them this year. All if their kids are gorgeous and they are such an amazing family. Our kiddos play sports together and we are truly privileged to know them!

We decided to do something a little different this year for their family shoot. We took them out in front of their gorgeous home here San Antonio with a bunch of furniture and snapped away! Of course we ended up loving all the close up up images that we took as they are such a cute crew! I really loved how the individuals turned out of each of the kids because I feel like it shows each of the darling personalities. All good looking yet all have a different look about them! All of their kiddos are stud athletes but more than that they are just a neat family with really great kids! I admire the way the Laurences have raised them–super kind and respectful!

Thank you Laurence family for having me out to photograph your sweet family. I love how they turned out–you are so blessed with all these little ones (well not so little! ) I hope you treasure these prints for years and years to come!

We had so much fun on this senior session here in San Antonio! Kelsey is a doll and super photogenic! We started out with Kerri and getting her hair and makeup done which looked fabulous as usual! She has the most gorgeous hair and I love the messy tossled look look that Kerri gave her! Her mom was there with us and we had some great conversations before we headed out for the shoot! Kelsey had the cutest outfits and everything just looked precious on her! She was a natural behind the camera and we truly had a fabulous time together! {For those of you seniors out there–when you hire Kerri-she joins us for the ENTIRE shoot and assists with hair/makeup and making you look fabulous–I pride myself as being the only photographer that offers this here in San Antonio!} We had several locations that Kelsey wanted to hit as well as several outfit changes! She was great at having the extra special touches like the big gold necklace and scarf!

Kelsey I am so happy for you! I know you will go far no matter where you choose to go to school! You have overcome a lot and are a gorgeous girl both inside and out! I hope you enjoy these!

As many of you know I come from a pretty big family with a lot of girls! My sister that is closest in age is exactly one year, one month and one day older than me. We have been through a lot together both good and bad but when we were both blessed with girls that are only 5 weeks apart we have been able to share a bond that cannot be broken! We talk just about everyday about our baby girls, we help each other solve the problems of child rearing and share all the new tricks our little ones are doing at the time. The funny part is this is my third and her first and she always says that she knows God gave her a girl right by mine because she would not have been able to survive without me! HA! Somedays I think the same of her. I am so blessed to have a special sister (they are all special!) and to share these two little ones together. I know when they grow up they are going to be buds and share so many special memories together. They are both cute as a button in my opinion but I will let you see for yourself! Thank you sweet Erika for being such an amazing sister and friend to me over the years–even if you did balance my checkbook when I was 18 and play all those nasty tricks on me! I love you sweet friend.
