This was such an amazing session!  I am not sure where to begin!  You probably remember Lisa’s gorgeous maternity photos that were published on all sorts of blogs…well this is her little one..meet Barrett!  What a cool name for a super cool kid!  Is he not the most precious baby you have ever seen!  I saw him again today and he just keeps getting cuter and cuter by the minute!  I loved the hat that Lisa chose for the shoot and because I loved it so much I was elated when Lisa purchased one for me to keep for my other sweet baby boy clients!  You can tell that mom and dad are smitten over this little fella.  He took quite awhile to arrive and  a lot of patience to say the least but well worth the wait!  Check out his smiles and that hair is just fabulous!  I never want to forget him at this tiny little stage in his life!  He was perfect for me throughout the entire session until he got into mom and dad’s arms and then had a hay day!  It was so funny to see him make a mess of the both of them and they still loved every minute of it!  I choose some of my favorites for the collage below.  There were a lot to choose from as this little guy was the perfect little model!  Thank you so much for sharing this special time with me! I hope I was able to capture everything you wanted and that you cherish these for many many years to come!  I cant wait for our next photo session–after seeing his smiles today–he melts my heart!

I am so excited to share with you that my work was featured on a blog called The Lens Loves!!  A maternity session with Lisa Woolley, was featured and I am so happy to be on a blog with such wonderful inspiration for photographers!

Lisa and I worked together to plan this beautifully vintage maternity photo shoot.  We had many consultations where we talked about the style of the photo shoot and what Lisa should wear to create the vintage feel we were going for.  She really wanted a natural look so we utilized the outdoors and beautiful sun to create a natural setting for the photo shoot.

We also talked a lot about clothes for this shoot!  I really wanted her to wear something fitted to show off the baby bump and we accomplished that with the pretty top she wore.  We also went shopping together, which was so much fun!  I also think it allowed for us to both be on the same page regarding this shoot, and really allowed for me to understand exactly what she wanted with these photos.  And who doesn’t love to go shopping?  Especially at Anthropologie!!

Lisa had the awesome idea to add the cute umbrella and we incorporated the letter “B” for the baby’s name.  I love the hat she wore and all the fun accessories!

Below are a few of my favorite images from this session.  Notice how all the extras make a huge difference in the shoot.  The clothing, hats, umbrella and even the little “B”.  I always tell my clients, it is the little extras that make or break the shoot!
